June Wine and Cheese Social On June 14 we had a wonderful evening with 53 people attending our Wine and Cheese Social. It was great to see some new faces along with our core group! Members sampled 4 wines, 2 white and 2 red from Okanagan Valley wineries. To change things up a brisket was paired with the Red Rooster Syrah and lemon herbed chicken with the Calliope. As people socialized, additional wine, a Dirty Laundry Rose and Ehrenfelser were served with tasty snacks of tiny caprese skewers, cucumber, watermelon, Balderson cheese and crackers. The final treat was a mini apple tart which was delicious. And we had a lucky winner of our door prize. Stay tuned for the next event in the coming months!
